We have found a Defibrillator Guardian

Thank you to the volunteer who is going to be the Guardian.

The Town Council were kindly donated a Jay’s Aim Defibrillator which was installed outside of the Scout’s Hut in Winters Lane.  As a part of this we need a guardian to occasionally check on it and update the status on the central defibrillator database.

You will not be called upon if the defibrillator is needed, just to check on it once a month and complete a short report every three months which takes a couple of minutes.

If you live nearby or visit the Scout Hut to drop your kids off, then could you be our guardian?

Please get in touch with the CEO, Kerry Kennell at Ottery St Mary Council.

Jay’s Aim was established with the target of reducing the rate of sudden cardiac death among young people here in South-West England.
