Flood Action Week: Households encouraged to know their flood risk
This Flood Action Week (20-26 November) the Environment Agency (EA) is urging people to prepare for increased weather extremes.
Communities are being urged by EA this week to make sure they know their flood risk amid increased extreme weather events. The EA is reminding people that to prepare for future flooding they should:
| Take steps to protect themselves from future flooding Sign up for flood warnings by phone, text or email Check their long-term flood risk from rivers, the sea, surface water, reservoirs and groundwater |
