Living in the Ottery St Mary area we are spoilt for walks available to us across fields, through woods, along abandoned rail tracks and by the river Otter. Or you can take a historic walk through the town looking at the significant buildings, discover what went on in the past and who lived there.
Whether you walk to keep fit, wind down, exercise your dog or just to get out we want to know what your favourite walk is?
We are looking for dog friendly walks, circular walks, fun walks, accessible walks, seasonal walks, route to the shops walk or just because walks.
It doesn’t matter how long or short the walk is, we want to know all about it:
- What is your favourite local walk?
- Why do you like this walk so much?
- What are some of the highlights of the walk?
- Is there anything specific you would recommend to other people who are planning to do the walk?
To start with can you email our Community Officer on comms@otterystmary-tc.gov.uk with a few details and we’ll get back to you to find out more about your favourite walk and plot where it goes.
